"This book touches a heavy subject in such a light manner, the challenges that come post divorce, the fear and uncertainties of being brought into a blended family. The author does a beautiful job in changing the perceived negative of the Stepmother while presenting the child different ways that love can be shown. So far is the best book I've read about extended families, the healing and acceptance, as long as the adults put the child's need in the front. Impeccable illustration, not too "princess" and my daughter enjoyed the song. Makes a great gift for boys and girls."

• An absolutely beautiful and well written book. My daughter can't put it down. She insists on reading it over and over again and has already memorized most of it from reading it so many times. An extremely clever way to touch on the subject so many of us parents are dealing with these days, the "co-parenting" aspect of post divorce child upbringing. The author did an incredible job portraying the two most important factors needed for a successful transition into the world of extended families, love and patience.

• great childrens book with beautiful illustration. a little too advanced for my 3 year old however she loves walking around with this book and looking at the pictures with the fairies. more importantly it was written by my childhood friend so it's a win at our house.
